TotalEnergies Hydransafe HFDU LC 168 – Fire-Resistant Hydraulic Fluid
Hydransafe HFDU LC 168 is a fully synthetic, polyol ester-based fire-resistant hydraulic fluid. Designed for hydraulic systems in fire-prone areas such as the steel industry, subways, or theaters, it offers excellent lubrication, high corrosion protection, and a very high natural viscosity index.
Product Advantages
• Excellent lubrication, reduces friction losses
• Very high natural viscosity index (VI 196)
• High flash point (298 °C) for improved safety
• Good flow properties at low temperatures (pour point –33 °C)
• Extended service life of hydraulic systems
• Outstanding rust and corrosion protection
• Compatible with NBR (>30 % ACN), HNBR, FKM, PU, PTFE, iron/steel alloys, most non-ferrous alloys and multi-component epoxy coatings
Typical Applications
• Hydraulic systems in fire-prone areas (e.g. steel industry, subways, theaters)
• Systems requiring enhanced fire resistance and lubrication
