Description

TotalEnergies Hydransafe HFC-E 68 – Fire-Resistant Hydraulic Fluid

Hydransafe HFC-E 68 is a biodegradable fire-resistant hydraulic fluid (HFC-E) specially formulated to replace mineral oil-based hydraulic fluids without loss of performance. With advanced anti-wear additives, it meets the most demanding pump test standards and is suitable for a wide range of hydraulic systems, from mobile machinery to stationary equipment.

Product Advantages
• Excellent flame resistance due to high water content
• Superior wear and corrosion protection
• Very good biodegradability (>90% according to OECD 301 C)
• Up to 50% longer service life and up to 40% reduced maintenance costs
• Lower disposal costs
• Water hazard class (WGK) 1
• Highly suitable for humid environments (absorbs water)
• Vickers pump test: combined wear at viscosity 68 mm²/s only 3 mg (limits: ring 150 mg / valve 50 mg)
• Suitable for use at high ambient temperatures

Typical Applications
• Hydraulic pumps of all types
• Mobile and stationary hydraulic systems
• Underground and tunnel construction
• Construction and agricultural machinery
