Description

TotalEnergies Carter SH 680 – Synthetic PAO Gear Oil ISO VG 680 with Micropitting Protection

TotalEnergies Carter SH 680 is a synthetic high-performance gear oil based on polyalphaolefins (PAO), developed for enclosed industrial gear systems under extreme loads and high operating temperatures. It provides reliable protection against micropitting and scuffing, excellent thermal and oxidation stability, and long service life.

Product Advantages
• Excellent protection under high thermal and mechanical stress
• High natural viscosity index (165)
• Superior oxidation and shear stability
• Micropitting and wear protection
• Energy-efficient due to low friction
• Zinc-free and compatible with seals and copper alloys
• Excellent low-temperature performance (pour point –39 °C)
• Not compatible with PAG-based oils

Typical Applications
• Industrial gearboxes with spur, helical, or planetary gears
• Heavily loaded bearings and couplings
• Long-term operation under extreme conditions
