TotalEnergies Carter SH 460 – Synthetic PAO Gear Oil ISO VG 460 with Micropitting Protection

TotalEnergies Carter SH 460 is a synthetic PAO-based high-performance gear oil, developed for enclosed industrial gear systems operating under extreme load and thermal conditions. It offers outstanding micropitting protection, superior thermal stability, and excellent compatibility with seals and copper-containing alloys.

Product Advantages
• High load protection and resistance to micropitting
• Naturally high viscosity index (160)
• Excellent oxidation and thermal stability
• High-pressure wear protection and long oil life
• Energy-saving due to low friction coefficient
• Excellent compatibility with seals and non-ferrous metals
• Arctic temperature capable
• Not compatible with PAG-based oils

Typical Applications
• Spur, helical and planetary gearboxes under heavy load
• High-stress bearings and couplings
• Long-term industrial operation with high thermal stress
