Petro-Canada ATF D3M – Automatic Transmission Fluid for Older Vehicles and Off-Road Use

Petro-Canada ATF D3M is a premium ATF based on 99.9% pure base oils, offering excellent thermal resistance, shear stability and cold flow performance. It enables long service life, smooth shifting and extended component protection under various operating conditions.

Specifications/Approvals

Approvals:

  • Petro-Canada ATF D3M can be used in automatic transmissions for which an oil according to the former DEXRON®§ -III(H), -III(G), -II(E), -II or Ford MERCON®† specifications is recommended. This means that the oil is also suitable for applications for which the former General Motors specification 6297M and the Ford specifications M2C166-H or M2C185-A are recommended.
  • Petro-Canada ATF D3M also fulfils the requirements of Allison TES-389 Rev. B.

  • Allison V-730D and C-4
  • Caterpillar TO-2
  • JASO M315-1A and JASO M315-2A
  • Can also be used in hydraulic and power steering systems

 

Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for specific recommendations.

Petro-Canada ATF D3M must NOT be used when a Ford ‘Type F’ oil is recommended or when newer GM or Ford specifications are required.
