TotalEnergies OSYRIS WB 5000 – VOC-Free, Water-Based Corrosion Protection Fluid
TotalEnergies OSYRIS WB 5000 is a VOC-free, water-based temporary corrosion protection fluid for the metalworking industry.
It forms a thin, slightly oily protective film, providing corrosion protection for up to 12 months indoors and up to 6 months when packaged and stored under cover outdoors.
The product offers fast drying, excellent wetting and no flash point, making it highly safe to use.
Application can be performed by dipping, spraying or brushing. The protective film can be removed with alkaline cleaners, solvents or mechanical methods.
The pH should be regularly monitored (recommended range: 9.7–10.3). Deionised water should be used for topping up. Treated parts must dry completely before storage.
