TotalEnergies CARTER ALS 220 – non-staining gear lubricant for enclosed gear systems
CARTER ALS 220 is a non-staining lubricant designed for enclosed gears such as spur, helical and worm gears, bearings and gear couplings.
It is formulated with non-staining base oils and additives to prevent surface defects, especially in aluminium rolling mills where contamination with conventional lubricants can cause staining.
Product Advantages
• non-staining formulation
• reduces production rejects
• very good EP and anti-wear properties
• oxidation and degradation resistance
• good foam and emulsion resistance
• suitable for aluminium, steel and yellow metals
Typical Applications
• enclosed gear systems
• spur and helical gears
• worm gears
• bearings and gear couplings
• aluminium rolling mills
