Nevastane Antifreeze is used as a frost and corrosion protection concentrate mixed with demineralised water for cooling circuits in the pharmaceutical and food production industries. The concentration depends on the application specifications. To protect the cooling system against corrosion and frost damage, an application concentration of at least 30% by volume is recommended, depending on the desired application temperature. The product is approved by the FDA for unintentional, accidental contact with food.
