Hydransafe HFDU 68 is an ester-based, flame-retardant and biodegradable high-performance hydraulic fluid for use in hydraulic systems in fire-hazardous areas, such as in the iron and steel industry, underground railways, underground mining, open-cast mining, offshore etc., where contamination by water cannot be ruled out. Hydransafe HFDU 68 significantly reduces the risk of fire compared to the use of mineral oil in the event of leaks or oil loss in areas with high temperatures, such as in smelting works or in switch cabinets.
