Petro-Canada Lubricants HYDREX MV Arctic 15 is a high-quality, high-performance hydraulic oil developed for operation at extremely low temperatures or applications that require a low-viscosity oil. The starting point for HYDREX MV Arctic 15 is the HT purification process, in which a water-light, 99.9 % pure base oil is produced. By removing impurities that can affect the performance of conventional competitive products and alloying with our speciality additives, HYDREX MV Arctic 15 delivers maximum performance.

APPLICATION AREAS
Petro-Canada Lubricants HYDREX MV Arctic 15 is recommended for vane, gear and axial piston hydraulic pumps in applications requiring ISO viscosity grades 10 and 15. HYDREX MV Arctic 15 is also recommended for use in emergency stop valves and other critical, heavy-duty hydraulic systems at low temperatures to ensure fast and reliable response, even at extremely low temperatures down to -45 °C/-49 °F.

HYDREX MV Arctic 15 has proven to be compatible with other zinc-based mineral oil hydraulic oils as well as synthetic polyalphaolefin (PAO) oils. However, for maximum performance and service life, systems should be completely drained and thoroughly flushed before refilling with HYDREX MV Arctic 15. Refer to Tech Bulletin TB-1284 for instructions on the oil change procedure. It is also compatible with common seal materials and will not attack valve seals.
